Commercial work through Momentum

Making the commercial capability easier to find and understand.

RightSort had the operational capability. My job was to bring it into the commercial story: make the services easier to find, explain why customers should choose the business and give sales a stronger starting point.

The starting point

My initial review identified gaps in the website’s search setup, thin service content, unclear calls to action and positioning that did not fully communicate the business’s capability.

The challenge was to connect an established operation with a clearer online proposition. A prospective customer needed to understand what RightSort could do for them and how to start a conversation.

Start with the business

Understanding the team, machinery and systems helped shape the commercial direction. The website needed to reflect the delivery capability behind the offer.

That informed the messaging, service structure and the way different audiences would navigate direct mail and fulfilment support.

What Momentum delivered

The work has included a website rebuild, revised service messaging and dedicated content across direct mail and fulfilment. The structure covers areas such as data processing, print and enclosing, hand fulfilment, storage, pick and pack, returns and distribution.

Search-focused page titles, descriptions, supporting content and clearer calls to action give those services a more useful digital foundation. Blogs and LinkedIn activity support the wider commercial plan.

Connect visibility with enquiries

A service page needs to explain the offer and make the next step clear. The work connects information, credibility and contact routes so prospective customers can explore the relevant service and enquire.

The content plan also gives the team a way to explain specific capabilities over time, rather than relying on a broad description of the business.

Progress and the next stage

The work connects service positioning, website content and commercial communication. The next stage is to keep building relevant visibility, start the right sales conversations and follow opportunities through the pipeline.

This is an ongoing commercial engagement. Enquiries, qualified conversations, quotes and customer wins are the outcomes to assess as the work develops.

The commercial lesson

An established business needs its sales and marketing to reflect what it can deliver. Clear service positioning gives the customer a reason to enquire and the sales team a stronger proposition to work with.
